A recap of Perth COVID-19 activity over the weekend has seen 2 new cases of COVID-19 recorded and now 42 active cases being monitored in Western Australia.
On Saturday there was 1 case recorded – a child who returned to Perth from overseas. She is in hotel quarantine and is a close contact of previous cases.
The other new case was recorded on Sunday – a female traveller who returned to Perth from overseas. She is in hotel quarantine.
Western Australia’s COVID-19 total now stands at 769. Department of Health is now monitoring 42 active cases.
718 people have recovered from the virus.
There have been 487,990 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 82,416 were from regional WA.
