Scarborough’s favourite winter markets are coming in hot this May, and they’ve got an exciting new inclusion.
The winter blues are approaching, but Scarborough’s Sunset Markets are bringing the heat.
Perth’s most iconic beachside markets are returning for their winter season on Saturday the 14th of May, and they’ve got a brand new seasonal special joining the ranks- Donut Fries. Yep, it’s a thing, and they come in three flavours: Nutella, Biscoff, or Oreo. They’re seemingly the first of its kind to hit the Perth food scene, and given calories don’t count on weekends we’ll be more than happy to try all three.
All your other foodie faves will also be returning to the beachfront and serving up piping hot dishes to warm the belly. You can feast on everything from BBQ meats, authentic Indian, Italian street food, Brazilian bites, handmade gnocchi, and heart-warming soups to Polish donuts, French crepes, Dutch mini pancakes, deep-fried delights, hot bevvies, crème brulee and everything in between.
This year’s retail section is also said to be upping the ante with a selection of local gems selling unique and funky clothing, handmade soy candles, natural medicinal plant extracts, dog apparel, drone photography, boho-inspired jewellery, tarot readings, eco homewares and more.
The fires will be lit each week to keep you nice and toasty, local market DJs will provide the tunes as you eat and shop ’til your heart’s content, and as always they’ll be keeping it sustainable with Waste Warriors ensuring all the market’s waste is sorted into the three waste streams and BYO cups and cutlery encouraged.
