ICF is back this summer!

ICF Is Coming In Hot With A Spicy Line-Up And Extended Season

ICF (formerly Ice Cream Factory) is back for Perth’s hottest summer ever with a new name, an unbelievable line-up of international artists and homegrown heroes, and an extended 2024/25 season.

Formerly known as Ice Cream Factory, Perth is set for a scorching summer with the return of ICF, one of WA’ s most celebrated, trusted, and unique events in the calendar. It’s outgrown its December confines with an extended 2024/2025 season running from November 22nd all the way until February 15th, next year.

Over 18 nights and three stages, the not-so-quiet intersection of Northbridge’s Roe and Lake Street will host 4,500 revellers and dozens of international acts and Australian artists covering all genres of music in the open-air space.

Global talent

The confirmed global talent includes international icons such as Ireland’s indie-dance trio Two Door Cinema Club, tech house pioneer Patrick Topping, and four-time DJ Awards winner Dance Legend Solomun — whose 2024 Sydney show happening in early December sold out in under an hour. The Brits from Hot Chip will be playing a DJ set of top tier house, disco and pop tunes, and a secret headlining act hailing from Canada will be announced in the coming weeks.

The local line-up includes indie-electronic darling Vera Blue, Bunnings rave royalty Peking Duk, dance music producer Luude, Eurovision alumni Montaigne, Brisbane’s indie rockers The Jungle Giants, and alt-pop group Cub Sport. Pnau will also be returning to the Main Stage — 12 months since they were last in Perth for ICF’s 2023 iteration, and the Perth Symphony Orchestra will be giving Fred Again’s prolific hits an orchestral makeover with maestro Fiona Campbell and DJ Wildflower.

“We are so excited to release our 2024 lineup which continues to grow year on year. The Ice Cream Factory is now firmly on the map as a completely unique performance space for international touring names allowing us to secure top-tier talent like never before,” Co-founder and Director of Bar Pop Events, Chris Bausor said.
