DecAid For Starlight will take over Fremantle’s iconic Naval Store on Friday, August 30, promising an all-inclusive night of grunge, pop, and pure party energy — all to support the life-changing work of the Starlight Children’s Foundation. From the 80s to the 50s, and now the 90s
Since launching in 2019, DecAid has carved out a reputation as Perth’s “best un-black-tie party,” where the only rule is to have fun and raise as much as possible for Starlight. Past years have taken guests from the wild days of the 80s to Woodstock in the 60s, and, most recently, all the way back to the 1950s, collectively raising over $320,000 for children facing serious illness.
The 90s are calling, and everyone’s invited
This isn’t your average charity dinner. A $180.00 ticket gets you five and a half hours of everything DecAid is known for: all-inclusive beer, wine, and bubbles; a rolling feast and dessert bar from Mi Scusi; and a non-stop soundtrack of 90s gold, performed live and loud by Perth party legends FELIX. Add in a crowd dressed for the era — think pop icons, grunge royalty, and plenty of Spice Girls energy — and you’ve got a night out with no pretension and maximum impact.
For those looking to up the ante, 90s-inspired cocktails will be slinging at the Billy Stitch Distillery bar, with every dollar spent on drinks going directly to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The team has also lined up a raffle and live auction packed with epic prizes and experiences, making it easy to give a little extra support to Starlight on the night.
