The Roleystone Hills is home to plenty of fantastic bush reserves, but the real gem is Roley Pool Reserve. The reserve follows the Canning River along the steep-sided Canning Valley for two kilometres between the Soldiers Road Bridge and Heritage Drive in Roleystone.

There are four walking trails on the banks of the Canning River in Roleystone where you can discover the region’s unique plants, animals, history, and beautiful landscapes. These trails are extremely popular and it’s no surprise as to why. Plus, Roley Pools is also dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the adventure.

The facilities at Roley Pools have also been recently upgraded with new trail markers and information signage. You can scan the QR codes on the signs to learn about Noongar culture and land care.

If you’re interested in attending any of these must-experience events, head to the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre to collect your festival program and book your place.
