Women of the Region Luncheon

Join us as we celebrate the women behind this great region for a Cocktail and Canapé Affair at Hybla. Hear from the influential and inspiring Kim Tyrer, CEO & Winemaker of Galafrey Wines and ACCI Business Person of the Year and Amy Hamilton, award winning chef from Albany’s only hatted restaurant, Liberté. The event supports Food Bank Albany with $10 from each ticket sold donated along with all proceeds from the auctions!

Great Southern Wine Journey

The Great Southern has five distinctive wine sub regions, unique in Western Australia! They include Frankland River, Mount Barker, Porongurup, Albany and Denmark and all boast award winning wines.

Discover and learn more of what makes them special in a masterclass led by winemakers and 2018 Wine Communicator of the Year Max Allen. 

Ticket includes masterclass tastings from the sub regions with matching food, presentations by Max Allen and local winemakers and informal chats and tastings after the masterclass.

Wines will be presented in four brackets featuring Riesling, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet.

Frankland River Cellar Door Experience

There are two sessions to the event, the first being a limited tasting of nine wines for one hour led by the winemakers and host, 2018 Wine Communicator of the Year Max Allen.

The second session you will have access to the amazing wines of the region with around ten wineries providing informal tastes and one on one discussions with visitors. Join us as you taste the amazing wine and enjoy canapes and hear about why this region is exceptional.
