For the first time ever, 18 of the region’s most iconic wine brands will converge in one place for the Grand Tasting presented by Singapore Airlines. Set on the stunning grounds of Howard Park Winery, this exclusive event offers a curated selection of exquisite wines from prestigious wineries like Cullen, Xanadu, Voyager Estate, Vasse Felix, and other award-winning vineyards.

Guests will soak up the garden party atmosphere as they enjoy unlimited gourmet bites showcasing WA produce, live music, the Howard Park Sparking & Oyster Bar, and the option to elevate their experience with rare museum wine masterclasses and tastings led by the winemakers themselves.

New Wave Gathering

The spotlight will be shed a light on the region’s innovators who are making waves in the industry, with exclusive new season releases and tastings at the New Wave Gathering — a congregation of rebel winemakers, from new blood to the old guard, known for pushing the limits of incredible wine.

Guests can revel in golden hour amongst the vines with a selection of tasty bites, as they sample the region’s most innovative and daring wine labels, with exclusive new season releases and tastings from LS Merchants, South by South West, and other game changing Margaret River winemakers. Multi-talented culinary figures including Attica’s Chef Ben Shewry, Hearth’s Chef Brian Cole, and DJ Grant Smilie will provide the ultimate party soundtrack as they put the vine in vinyl.

This will be Australia’s ultimate coastal celebration featuring day sessions by Cafe Del Mar DJ Ken Fan direct from Ibiza, and sunset sessions with British pop legend turned cheese and winemaker Alex James — best known as the bassist of the rock band, Blur. Here, guests can enjoy perfectly paired wines curated by legendary local sommelier Cyndal Petty and grilled seafood platters and dishes crafted by culinary heroes Burnt Ends’ David Pynt, Lagoon’s Ben Jacobs, Yarri’s Aaron Carr, and Aberta’s Ben Ing.

Gourmands who are lucky enough to be at the inaugural event this November can expect to embark on a spectacular culinary adventure in Western Australia’s South West. To view the full program of events and to purchase tickets, visit the Pair’d website.
