Wine lovers rejoice! UnWined Subiaco, Western Australia’s premier wine and food festival, will return once again. The beloved Subiaco event will take place on Saturday, October 28th and Sunday, October 29th at Market Square Park. Grab a glass as you enter and embark on a journey through more than 35 wineries, boasting a selection of over 250 wines available for tasting and purchase.
Experience some of the finest offerings from West Australian vineyards and beyond, including a collection of beer, cider and spirits.
Choose a glass of wine, beer, or a cocktail to enjoy amidst the cosy ambience of picnic tables, rugs and other seated areas. Don’t get too comfortable during the tasting festivities, as you’ll want to remember to pick up a few bottles for your personal collection or cellar.
What To Expect
If you’re a wine lover who lives in Perth, there’s no doubt you will have attended an UnWined event in previous years. But if you haven’t, expect to spend the day wandering around Market Square Park, trying different wines from all over the state. Take a seat on a picnic table or rug with a glass of vino, beer, or a cocktail, and hang out with your friends and family with a side of tapas if you’re feeling peckish.
Live Music
Attendees will also get the pleasure of listening to live music at various times of the day. The live music from the Music Gazebo will be the heart and centre of the event with some of Perth’s best artists like Ari Davis and Gemini Music popping down to perform.
Park Lounge
Whether you’re just attending for fun, for a noteworthy celebration, or some well-deserved self-indulgence, securing an exclusive pass to the Park Lounge will be a treat. Picture this: you’ll be given a premium Plumm glass to take home, you’ll be treated to a selection of complimentary Cherubino wines and Matilda Bay beers from the private bar, and accompanying these beverages will be a spread of catering. There’s no need to worry about the weather as attendees will get to enjoy undercover spaces in the serenity of a lush garden courtyard alongside their own seated area and restroom facilities.
Barrel Sessions
Whether you’re an oenophile or new to wine, a Barrel Session at UnWined Subiaco is the perfect way to immerse yourself in a wine tasting journey. And if your preferred drink of choice is beer or gin, there are some excellent choices for you, too. Each Barrel Session has four tasters and a presentation from one of the local, talented Western Australian producers. It’s an ideal opportunity to savour some of the finest beverages at UnWined and learn more about their local production.
