As the days grow longer and undeniably warmer, Karrinyup has turned its attention to the arrival of spring-summer trends. To mark this seasonal sartorial transition, Perth’s leading fashion and lifestyle destination has teamed up with Vogue Australia to present the ultimate celebration of the new season.
A weekend-long festival of fashion
Kicking off on Friday, September 13th and running all weekend long, Australia’s first-ever Vogue Festival is making a grand entrance in Perth this weekend, transforming Karrinyup into a colourful hub of fashion, beauty, and culture.
Over three days, the festival will see Karrinyup come alive as new season trends drop in stores alongside a dynamic lineup of events, masterclasses, and exclusive experiences that celebrate the best of fashion, beauty, and more. From panel discussions and workshops to styling sessions, chef collaborations, beauty bars, and sit-down events with leading designers and fashion tastemakers, the festival offers something for everyone.
Marking the official launch of the festival will be Vogue Fashion After Dark — a ticketed dining experience at Dandelion. With a new season fashion preview and intimate Q&A session hosted by Vogue Australia Editorial Director Edwina McCann, Senior Fashion and Market Director Kaila Matthews, Senior Beauty and Health Editor Remy Rippon, and Vogue Living Editor-in-Chief Rebecca Caratti setting the tone for the weekend to come.
Vogue Australia Editorial Director Edwina McCann said this first-to-Perth event was one the entire team were thrilled to be part of and a celebration that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of spring-summer fashion.
A celebration of the spring-summer season
“This festival is more than an event; it’s an immersive celebration of the spring-summer season, offering a curated blend of fashion, culture, and culinary excellence,” McCann said.
“We are excited to share this unique experience with the Perth community, engaging directly with our readers and fashion enthusiasts in a way that embodies the innovative spirit of Vogue. The weekend promises to be a vibrant showcase of the season’s defining trends and creative energies.”
As shoppers settle in for the weekend-long festival, they’ll be invited to head to the Wellness Precinct, for a morning of invigorating fitness classes. This will be followed by the founders’ panel discussion, hosted by Vogue’s Health Editor, Remy Rippon and featuring HyperLuxe and Velocity founders as together they delve into the latest trends in the athleisure space over smoothies and a nutritious breakfast.
With Karrinyup set to be brimming with new season style in every corner, GPT Marketing General Manager, Kate Wilton said the centre was delighted to welcome the Vogue Australia team to Perth.
“We are thrilled to be presenting the very first Vogue Festival weekend in Perth — an event that truly highlights Karrinyup’s role as a premier fashion and lifestyle destination.”
