The one-day festival will feature the state’s largest drone show, fireworks, live music, carnival rides, food trucks, and more. It will also include a showcase of WA’s best local music, in partnership with RTRFM. The full line-up is set to be announced in the coming months. Along with free festival entry, families can take advantage of free public transport to get to and from the event.

“While we were disappointed to see the June event cancelled, we promised we’d bring the WA Day Festival back later in the year and we’re delivering,” Premier Roger Cook said.

“This is the perfect way to kick off summer — a free festival showcasing the very best of WA. We live in the greatest state in the country, and this is an opportunity to celebrate everything we love about WA.”
