A win over Melbourne City sees Perth Glory sail into the final for the second consecutive season!
Perth Glory secured a 3-1 win over Melbourne City at NIB Stadium on Wednesday night, which propels them to the final for the second season in a row. After a difficult start to the season and a tough run to the final four, Glory took advantage of their opportunities during the game and really made the most of it.
The home side went into the second half with a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Gyorgy Sandor and an own goal off the boot of City defender Ben Garuccio. Chris Harold added Glory’s third goal in the second half to ice the cake.
The Glory lads will be looking to get a better result in this final, after a disappointing loss to Adelaide United in the final last season.
