Tell me why!

How’s this for a night out?

A crowd of 1,500 people in perfect harmony belting out a Backstreet Boys banger!

Yeah but would it be any good?

Watch the result

This isn’t just a random gathering or activation stunt that appeared out of nowhere.

This is the work of Pub Choir.

Pub Choir run by Astrid Jorgensen, Waveney Yasso and Meg Bartholomew – gathered on January 30th, 2019. 1,500 strangers packed into The Tivoli in Brisbane to learn I Want It That Way in 3-part harmony in 90 minutes.

Only way this could have been any better is if Jake was there…

With events in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne there is nothing currently locked in for Perth. When we reached out to the Pub Choir team they said that they can’t wait to head west.

“We don’t have a date yet – but we 100% are planning on visiting Perth in 2019! We get lots of requests to fly West, and so we’ll make it happen this year. Our guitarist Waveney Yasso lived and studied in Perth for a number of years, so she is keen to visit her old stomping grounds.” says Kirsten.

Here’s hoping Perth get’s its chance to harmonise as one in 2019.
