Perth Weather Scorcher – Friday Is Gonna to Be Hot
Best not to take a carton of milk outside with you on Friday, because finally the hot (hot) weather has arrived.
Yes, Summer in Perth is basically here folks.
Hot Sun is Hot
The UV index is set to soar and the dry Perth heat is on the way. Did you hear it’s a dry heat?
On Friday, it’ll be 36C in the city and possibly higher in some areas, as a big old barometric high develops over the south-west of Western Australia.
The heat will start on Wednesday with a top of 30C, moving up to 33C Thursday.
Then there’ll be a dramatic crescendo; so very hot – can’t walk on the pavement with bare feet – 36C on Friday.
Don’t forget to limit your sun exposure during the middle of the day when the UV peaks to silly levels, that’ll burn you in moments.
Willy Weather is a great website to keep an eye on the UV index in real time.
Best to stay out of the sun between 10am – 2pm. Get to the beach early (before the sea breeze) or head there mid afternoon.
