City of Perth have announced a Perth Bounce Back package to assist city businesses through COVID
You might have noticed lately that Perth city has been a bit of a ghost town with COVID cases ramping up, and it’s hit city businesses pretty hard.
The City of Perth has responded to growing concerns from Perth City businesses about the impact of COVID-19 with a new support package called Perth Bounce Back. Here’s what you need to know:
Perth Bounce Back Stage 1
The package will offer targeted support for businesses in an attempt to bring the energy and vibrancy back to our dazzling city through three key initiatives:
- Free night-time parking;
- Fee-Free and fast-tracked alfresco dining permits;
- Quick cash business grants.
Starting from today, Friday February 25th, city-goers can access more than 10,000 car bays across Perth car parks for free, seven days a week, from 6 pm. This move is set to encourage more people to head into the city for a night out on the town at our numerous great bars and restaurants.
Businesses can also take advantage of the fee-free and fast-tracked service for alfresco dining permits to set up outdoor dining spaces as we come into Autumn, or apply for one of the Small Business Bounce Back Grants- offering eligible businesses up to $5,000 in support.
