Beam is rolling out E-Scooter hire this summer across 3 WA locations.

It’s a micro-mobility revolution.

In a fast-moving and changing world, the craze for e-scooters and e-mobility to get us around is bigger than ever.

Beam is launching their E-Scooter hire service across Esperance, Bunbury and Rockingham this Summer following new e-rideables legislation.

It’s an app-based service with affordable pay-as-you-go rates, virtual docking and totally awesome Gen 3 scooters to zoom around on.

Sound familiar? They did operate in Bunbury previously but had to cut it short and pause operations due to COVID-19.

Meet The Beam Saturn

The new generation 3 scooters offered are custom-designed for safety, reliability and durability.

Featuring tip-resistant kickstands, electric and mechanical brakes, a bluetooth-locked helmet, and swappable batteries.

This means access to thousands of new customers and a boost in exposure and revenue- for absolutely no money at all! Businesses in Bunbury, Esperance and Rockingham can apply now for the upcoming season.

Virtual Docking

In line with their climate-conscious focus, Beam will be shaping the future of micromobility docking with their use of virtual docking.

No racks stuck in the pavement- it’s fixed parking docks that can be created virtually using GPS and tech to guide riders to safe parking spots.

A Greener City

Beam is the only operator in ANZ to be Certified Climate Neutral and has recently announced a pledge to go Carbon Negative by 2025.

They’ve been carbon-neutral since the start, and are committed to continuing to lead the industry in sustainability and reducing environmental impact.

City of Bunbury Mayor Jaysen Miguel said “The e-scooters provide a convenient, affordable, fun and environmentally friendly way for our community and visitors to move around the City and visit our amazing attractions, shops and restaurants.”

How To Beam

Beaming to your location couldn’t be simpler.

All you need to do is download the app and find your nearest Beam, pull down the kickstand, place both feet on the board, push off and press GO to start riding- and you’re off!

Need to slow down? Just pull the brake lever on the handlebars.
