More than 4,000 discounted flights to Broome have just been released as part of a major push to get more travellers heading north this dry season — and that’s not the only deal on offer.
With the recent closure of Jetstar Asia and the end of the Broome–Singapore route, the WA Government has stepped in to keep tourism momentum alive in the Kimberley, partnering with Virgin Australia, Nexus Airlines, and the Broome Visitor Centre to make a trip to Broome even more accessible this winter.
Virgin Australia is offering one-way fares between Perth and Broome from $199.00, available for travel between August 25th and October 26th, 2025, unless sold out prior. These flights build on the state’s 2025 Affordable Airfares Program, which has already delivered over 16,000 discounted seats to the region.
“Broome is one of WA’s most iconic and beloved destinations,” said Tourism Minister Reece Whitby. “These additional discounted flights will drive even more visitors to the Kimberley, providing a much-needed tourism boost.”
Regional travellers are also being catered for. Nexus Airlines is offering discounted fares to Broome for those travelling between July 19th and October 31st, 2025, including:
- Port Hedland to Broome from $199.00
- Karratha to Broome from $299.00
- Geraldton to Broome from $399.00
The flight deals are being supported by a campaign of discounted experiences on the ground, too. Visitors can score 25% off select Broome tours and attractions with vouchers available through the Broome Visitor Centre from July 15th to October 31st, 2025, or while supplies last.
“These discounts are yet another example of how we’re supporting regional tourism and diversifying our economy,” said Minister Whitby. “I encourage anyone thinking of heading to Broome to make that booking a reality and enjoy the fantastic Kimberley region of our State.”
Kimberley Minister Stephen Dawson also emphasised the local impact of the initiative. “Not only are these discounted airfares and experiences a win for visitors to the region, but it’s also a win for regional businesses and tour operators.”
