Bunnings Inglewood on Fire

The Bunnings Inglewood warehouse is on fire.

Dramatic images and footage have been shared by people in Inglewood, showing a massive fire engulfing the local Bunnings Warehouse.

Emergency services reported that there was a huge structural fire at Bunnings in Inglewood around 9.30pm Monday night.

Homes and buildings surrounding were under threat as well.

We’ve got our fingers crossed that nobody is hurt and everyone is safe.

Journalist Nadia Mitsopoulos was first on scene.

Local residents were being evacuated from Monday night Markets.

Street have been closed, including Beaufort Street and Eighth Avenue – avoid the area if you can.

“Nothing will save Bunnings. Huge plumes of smoke and loads is fumes,” Mitsopoulos wrote.

It appears the entire warehouse is destroyed, with the structure collapsing. People are being moved back to a safe distance, as thick smoke moves over surrounding suburbs.
