Five Chefs Dinner Raises Over $800,000 For Starlight

Chefs from some of Perth’s top restaurants joined forces and raised over $800,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Last Friday night, chefs from some of Perth’s top restaurants joined forces to raise money for Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The event — the Starlight Five Chefs Dinner — was held at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and raised over $800,000. That’s a record amount for the event with the silent auction selling out and the live auction breaking records.

That $800,000 will grant life-changing Starlight Wishes to 57 seriously ill children and young people and also fund Starlight Children’s Foundation’s vital hospital programs — Captain Starlight and Starlight Express Room — at Perth Children’s Hospital for two months.

That record-breaking amount was made possible thanks to the generous support from the 440 West Aussies who were in attendance, including Starlight Children’s Foundation state sponsor Aigle Royal Group which has supported the event since 2017.
