Local residents can see exciting developments as construction progresses on the highly anticipated Whiteman Park Station which is set to become a vital transport hub on the upcoming METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Train Line.
The station, located in Whiteman Park, will feature ground-level access and two elevated platforms. The installation of beams to support the raised rail structure is currently in progress, marking a significant milestone in the project’s advancement.
The new station will accommodate 900 parking bays and 10 bus stands, ensuring seamless connections for commuters. A pedestrian walkway beneath Drumpellier Drive will provide safe walking access for residents in the surrounding communities.
The State Government has released fly-through footage showcasing the station’s design. The visuals highlight the elevated platforms, a beautifully landscaped station forecourt, and grassed areas that will welcome passengers upon arrival.

Transport Minister Rita Saffioti commented, “The METRONET Whiteman Park Station is going to be a focal point in this growing part of our city, and it’s fantastic that locals can now start to see this new station emerging from the ground.”
Whiteman Park Station is poised to serve the rapidly expanding Henley Brook, Dayton, West Swan, and Brabham communities. Anticipating substantial growth over the next decade, the region is expected to expand with the construction of 12,000 new homes to accommodate approximately 32,000 residents by 2036.
Estimated to be operational in late 2024, Whiteman Park Station will offer a quick and efficient commute for passengers. Travelling from the Perth CBD to Whiteman Park will take 25 minutes via the new Morley-Ellenbrook Line, reducing the current bus travel time by an estimated 20 minutes.
The METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Train Line is a joint undertaking by the Federal and State Governments, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing public transportation infrastructure and accessibility for residents across the region.
