Australia Day Skyworks road closures.
If you are trying to get in or around Perth city on Australia Day you will need to be aware of road closures for the Perth Australia Day Fireworks Skyworks event.
Australia Day Perth Road Closures
The temporary road closures will take place on 26 January between 6:00am until 11:30pm inclusive, or until roads are safe to open.
Surrounding streets may be affected and detours will apply, please ensure you give yourself plenty of time when planning your travelling for the day in nearby areas.

Significant road closures include:
- Road’s inside Kings Park (6am)
- Mill Point Road (12pm)
- Riverside Drive (12pm)
- The Causeway (5pm)
- Adelaide and St Georges Tce (5pm)
Please refer to the road closure map for all road closures and associated times. Parking restrictions will apply, and towing may be enforced within the road closures, please read the signs before parking.

Getting home via public Transport
To aid Australia Day Fireworks Skywork punters in getting home, Transperth will be putting on additional trains and buses to get you there and back.
