Latest Perth coronavirus numbers for Perth confirm 2 new cases of COVID-19 overnight.
Two new COVID-19 cases in WA have been recorded overnight in the latest Perth coronavirus update.
Both cases are from returning overseas travellers, both male and aged in their 30’s and 70’s.
These new cases brings Western Australia’s active COVID-19 cases back up to 5 and our states total of confirmed cases to 661.
Victoria continues to see triple-digit increases, however today they saw one of their lowest tallies in recent days with 295 confirmed cases overnight.
This brings Victoria’s total of confirmed cases to 9,304.
While there may have been a drop in confirmed COVID-19 cases, there were still 9 deaths overnight from COVID-19 in Victoria – bringing the death toll to 92.
On Monday, Victoria had its worst day in the pandemic with 532 new cases.
