The weather bureau of Western Australia is forecasting “sub zero temperatures” and extensive frost for greater Perth and South-West WA for the closing days.

The frosty conditions could be hazardous for road users and it could spell harsh conditions for crop growers. With a vast array of the State forecast to experience freezing, frosty conditions over several days.

Despite the cold air mass this week, Perth is set to see warm and beautiful conditions at the weekend and into the following week.

This could well be the very last of the wintery weather for 2019. It’ll be 24C on Sunday and 29C on Monday ???? ????

Meanwhile, the weather bureau team is working to get the Perth radar back online, after technical glitches saw the important Serpentine based weather radar out of action.

Here’s the latest forecast:

“A cold air mass will move over southern WA on Wednesday, BOM WA said.

This pattern will produce light winds, clear skies and below zero temperatures which will produce extensive areas of frost on Thursday morning. Similar conditions likely Friday and Saturday mornings.”

“Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and southwesterly winds are expected during Wednesday. Areas likely to be affected include the South West and South Coastal forecast districts and parts of the Lower West and Great Southern forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.”
