RAC Arena Takes Out Australia’s Best Indoor Arena For Third Year Running

Perth's premier live entertainment venue has beaten Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena to claim the fan-voted title for the third consecutive year.

RAC Arena has hit a hat-trick and can now officially be referred to as the G.O.A.T. of Australian Indoor Arenas. It’s just won Australia’s Best Indoor Arena at the 2025 Stadium Awards for the third consecutive year.

The Perth CBD venue beat Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena to take out the top honour in the fan-voted competition, which recognises excellence across more than 570 Australian stadiums and arenas (who would have thought there were that many in Australia!).

It’s the fourth time RAC Arena has won the award, having previously claimed the title in 2024, 2023 and 2018. The venue also secured runner-up positions in 2019 and 2021.

The Stadium Awards are determined entirely by public vote, with fans across the country choosing their favourite venues based on their experiences at live events.

RAC Arena General Manager Michael Scott said the win reflected the dedication of the venue’s team and the support of Perth’s entertainment community.

“Being named Australia’s Best Indoor Arena through public voting for the third year in a row is incredibly humbling,” Scott said. “It reflects the passion and energy from our team and the support of everyone who walks through our doors.

“We’re proud to create unforgettable live experiences for the people of WA and look forward to welcoming even more world-class events to the venue in 2026.”

In the coming months, RAC Arena is hosting a series of high-profile events, including the United Cup, Hoopsfest, the Perth Wildcats, The Lumineers, Good Charlotte, Lorde, Jimmy Carr, and many more.
