Arguably Australia’s biggest sporting event, AMPOL State of Origin, is coming back to Optus Stadium, Perth in 2022 and tickets are set to go on sale from Thursday 17th of March.
Optus Stadium will play host to the AMPOL State of Origin Game II which will be a pivotal game for both the Maroons and Blues as Game II will be a decider – everything will be on the line at Optus Stadium.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow for this highly anticipated clash at Optus Stadium on June 26th.
Perth became the centre of a rugby league fan-frenzy in June 2019, when Optus Stadium hosted its first-ever State of Origin game in front of a sold-out capacity crowd of more than 59,000 people.
According to reports, the event had significant benefits for WA, with more than 11,600 out-of-State visitors spending more than $19 million and staying more than 69,000 nights combined in the State.
Fans are urged to get in quick to secure their seat for this year’s State of Origin Game II, which will be released in stages.
