New Dubai to Perth flight

Two Daily Flights Between Dubai And Perth From This Month

Getting to Western Australia is now even easier, with Emirates today launching a second daily flight from Dubai.

The new Dubai to Perth service will bring more than 129,000 inbound seats into Western Australia each year by greatly enhancing access to WA from key tourism markets, including Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States — just in time for WA’s peak summer season.

“This is another huge win for Western Australia and a massive vote of confidence in our status as a growing aviation hub and premier tourism destination,” Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti said.

“More flights from these key markets across the globe not only enhance connectivity, they also broaden our appeal as a location for investment,” Saffioti said.

New service supported by the $75 million Aviation Recovery Fund

The extra Boeing 777-300ER service is supported by the WA Government through the $75 million Aviation Recovery Fund, in partnership with Perth Airport.

It comes just days after the resumption of China Southern Airlines’ direct route from Guangzhou to Perth, while South African Airways is also increasing flights between Johannesburg and Perth from next week due to demand.

“We’ve been clear about our commitment to further bolster Western Australia’s aviation network, as it supports tourism and the broader local economy, and we’ll continue to encourage more airlines to establish or expand their connections into our state.”

WA is currently serviced by 25 international airlines with new or resumed direct connections established with 20 global destinations, reinforcing WA’s status as Australia’s Western Gateway.

Perth’s international inbound seat capacity has fully recovered compared to 2019 and has achieved 29% monthly growth compared to the same time last year.
