Out with the old, in with the $2.3 million beer garden makeover.
Phase two of the multi-million-dollar makeover is in full swing at one of Perth’s oldest pubs, with works expected to wrap up in May 2022.
The Vic Park Hotel has been standing proud since 1927 on Albany Highway, and the major revitalisation will see a blend of modern and heritage architecture with a focus on outdoor touches, Aussie pub dining, family atmosphere, and a calendar of live sports and entertainment.
So, What’s New?
The new-look project will see the addition of an open-air beer garden, an outdoor bar and dining area, a playground, and a purpose-designed function space perfect for celebrations.
The extension of the courtyard and beer garden will include a new indoor-outdoor bar with shaded outdoor dining areas to cater to both social crowds and families alike.
It will serve up casual hang vibes and a savvy modern dining space pumping out only the greatest Aussie pub classics like the well-loved chicken parmi or fish and chips alongside wholesome salads and sizzling steaks, all thanks to head chef Andre Nunes.
Sports and entertainment will also be getting a revamp with a brand new extended sports bar boasting a jam-packed calendar of live entertainment and family-friendly activations. Sports fans can settle in for all the action of the big games with multiple large screens to cheer at over a pint.
But not to worry regulars, the recently renovated and much-loved bar and bistro will still be trading throughout and serving up all your Vic Park Hotel favourites.
