The official took place traditional Whadjuk performances, music, children’s entertainers and other performers.
Sitting over the city train line – between Perth’s business district and Northbridge – the development is host dozens of specialty outlets, offices and cultural activations.
At night, Yagan Square hosts spectacular lighting displays on the underside of the canopies and the iconic Digital Tower.
The Square will also host regular events, performances and celebrations.
Screenwest will draw on their extensive library of content and partnerships with national and international producers and filmmakers to curate, program and operate the digital tower and canopies.
The final tenancy overlooking the upper level amphitheatre is a casual dining collaboration by Kevin Ofperkuch of Bunbury Farmers Market and Paul Vanderplancke of Cantina 663.
