Pride Parade Perth 2016
Perth comedian Joel Creasey headlines the 26th annual Pride Parade Perth in Northbridge, the organisers have announced.
The streets of Northbridge will be sequin filled once again on Saturday the 19th November when the 26th Pride Parade returns to the streets of Perth.
Starting at the corner of William and Brisbane Streets at 8pm, Pride Parade will career down William Street to James Street before heading up James Street to finish at Russell Square.
Over fifty floats from groups including The Court, Connections and Pride WA will take part in this annual event. With the theme of #lovewins, this parade is one not to be missed!
After the parade, the Official Pride Parade After Party will be held in the James Street Amphitheatre. Perth boy Joel Creasey, DJs and live acts will be keeping the crowd entertained until the early hours of Sunday morning!
“2016 marks a new era for Pride in Western Australia with the inclusion of regional groups from around Western Australia in the festival and parade,” Andrew Barker
President Pride WA said recently.
To celebrate this, the theme for 2016 #LoveWins reflects the foundations our community was built on – “love and equality for all”, bringing all members of the LGBTIQ and wider communities together,” he said.
