Love old school and local rock n’ roll, outrageous circus performances and all round crazy entertainment?

Perth’s newest local entertainment event ‘Rockin Cirq’ has it all.

The student run event, Rockin Cirq, will bring Perth a night of garage rock n roll and cabaret on Saturday 13th June at Perth City Farm, East Perth.

The event aims to provide a unique and immersive event experience with a variety of local talented artists performing. The hope is that Rockin Cirq will fill the void created by much-loved venue closures across Perth, if only for a night.

Headlining the evening are Perth rock and roll heartbreakers The Caballeros, debuting their yet-tobe released album, Ladies and Gentleman: The Caballeros.

Their mix of rock, garage, punk and blues draws inspiration from the past but has a unique, modern sound which ensures a high energy performance and pumping dance floor.

Opening the night with a New Orleans style procession is the renowned Junkadelic street brass band. Known for delighting audiences all over with their funky beats and a smokin’ hot horn section, this will be their last Perth show before heading to the US for the Honk West Big Band Festival in Seattle.

Following will be Thee Gold Blooms with their 60’s garage/surf rock that is filled with catchy pop melodies, group vocals and noisy guitars. That sugary sweet goodness is offset by sweaty swagger and a cheeky grin, letting you know you’re in for a good night.

Circus performers include Ivana B serious of Deadly Entertainment performing her fire twirling skills lighting up the night, alongside Reverend Butcher of Circus Carnis performing his delightful, disgusting, deranged specialty and traditional sideshow acts that must be seen to be believed.

To keep the party going will be DJ Primal Vinyl spinning his vintage tunes alongside the fabulous
shimmy and shaking Beehives Go-Go Dancers.

This sexy gang of carni-noise-freaks are glued together by ringmaster extraordinaire Magnus Danger Magnus from Danger Cabaret. A renowned entertainer of improvisation, characterisation and comedy, he has performed at numerous Fringe Festivals, circus and cabaret shows around Australia.
