Singapore Airlines Perth Flyover

Did you see the new Singapore Airlines Perth Airbus flyover today? We didn’t.

The aircraft was in Perth for a first time visit, with a low flight path to salute the city.

The new Airbus 350 flew at 1500ft (457m) from east to west over the Swan River – from the airport, over South Perth to Freo and out over Rotto. The media hyped the event. It was kinda cool. Nothing special.

Meanwhile, the Aviation enthusiasts were absolutely loving the experience.

“Saw this in person, was pretty damn awesome! Doesn’t beat when we got the AN-225 though,” one avation said on Twitter to Flightradar 24’s post.

The AN-225 (the world’s biggest aircraft) landed in Perth last year with thousands of people greeting the massive plane at Perth airport. That was a big day.
