After 13 years of Southbound, organisers have announced that they will take a break for 2017.

The WA music festival scene has been hit hard in recent years as major events continue to shut down and now Southbound will be added to this list – though perhaps temporarily.

Recently announced on the Southbound Facebook page and much to the disappointment of many, Southbound organisers have put Southbound 2017 on hold.

But it’s not all bad news… the organisers have decided to take a break from 2017 to focus on new exciting projects, which makes the sad news a little less painful.

Also, fans should fear not as organisers hope to be back bigger than ever in 2018 after a short break.
