Help raise the last $160,000 of the Starlight Foundations $1.6 million target.
With just under a week left to go before EOFY, Starlight Foundation is appealing to the public to help raise the last $160,000 of its $1.6 million target.
This will help keep its 10 Starlight Express Rooms open every day for seriously ill children, including at the Perth Children’s Hospital.
With only seven days until the end of financial year, Starlight Children’s Foundation (Starlight) urgently needs Australians to make a tax-deductible donation to help deliver happiness to over 15,000 seriously ill and hospitalised children every month.
Starlight CEO Louise Baxter said Starlight still needs to raise a further $160,000 before 30 June to support its vital hospital services, the Starlight Express Room and Captain Starlight, which are accessible to any sick child admitted to a children’s hospital nationally.
“If you’ve considered donating to Starlight before, now is the perfect time as you may be able to claim a tax deduction when you submit your tax return,” she said.
“As little as $39 will give one child access to Starlight’s essential hospital services, and your support will help us keep our Starlight Express Rooms and Captain Starlight services running daily.”
While health professionals treat a child’s illness, Captain Starlight and the Starlight Express Rooms are there to deliver the fun to sick kids and their families when they need it most.
