Over 60,000 fans are expected to fill Optus Stadium for Australian sports biggest rivalry – State of Origin.
Perth will be lucky enough to host Game 2 of the 2019 series which will be a deciding game for the team that wins Game 1 – so you know that we will be in for a great battle.
While AFL is the number one footy code in the West, over East (Syndey and Queensland) NRL rules the roost, but there is no denying that even if you aren’t an NRL fan – Origin is a whole different experience.
The world’s best rugby players going head to head and being club teammates means nothing in the quest for state pride when you step out on to the Origin field. Expect to see fast pace action, hard hits and even a bit of biff.
