$5.7 million winter reawakening for RAC Karri Valley Resort.

RAC Karri Valley Resort has had its first renovation in over two decades, with guests now able to enjoy the traditional charm of forest and lake view accommodation with a modern lift.

RAC Executive General Manager Brand and Tourism, Tony Pickworth said the $5.7 million redevelopment had been a major focus since RAC’s acquisition of the resort 18 months ago. 

“Having been untouched for many years, our priority throughout these refurbishments was to ensure the venue’s rich history and unique characteristics were preserved and enriched for Western Australians to enjoy for years to come,” Mr Pickworth said. 

The Resort

The $5.7million redevelopment has resulted in lake and forest view chalets being updated with new furnishings, appliances, and interiors.

The Lakeside Restaurant, the hero of the resort has undergone extensive refurbishments and includes an extension into a relaxed lounge area, indoor fireplace and spectacular views of Lake Beedelup.

Making this spot the absolute perfect location to wine and chill. 

But it’s not just the look and feel that’s been upgraded. The Lakeside restaurant has also updated its menu celebrating local, unique flavours. 

But there is still more to come for RAC Karri Valley Resort. Further works will include a caravan and camping area, providing guests with more accommodation to tailor their experience. 

Things To Do At RAC Karri Valley Resort

Animal Farm

Meet Mocha the friendly pig, and his friends the miniature ponies, guinea pigs, chickens and other farm animals.

Registrations are essential via the reception.

Hiking

Hike along the Bibbilmun track to the Beedelup Falls or follow the tracks to the Walk-Through tree.

Canoe or SUP 

Explore Lake Beedelup and adjacent Beedelup Falls by hiring a canoe or SUP.

Visit Frogs Leap Jetty and hike along the Bibbulmun Track.

Or take binoculars and enjoy some bird watching from the lake.

Other activities
