Latest Perth COVID-19 update for week commencing Monday 7th of December.
Despite borders being relaxed even further to New South Wales and Victoria, from Monday 7th of December, Western Australia has recorded only 4 new cases of COVID-19 and now has 12 active cases within the state – reaching a peak of 13 active cases throughout the week.
Western Australia COVID-19 Daily Breakdown
- Monday 7th: 0 new cases
- Tuesday 8th: 1 new case
- Wednesday 9th: 1 new case
- Thursday 10th: 0 new cases
- Friday 11th: 2 new cases
All cases are from male overseas travellers returning the Perth ranging from teens to 50 years of age.
All cases are currently in hotel quarantine.
Western Australia’s COVID-19 total is now 834.
There have been 581,566 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 95,915 were from regional WA.
