What was once a former railway dam has now become a popular swimming hole and camping spot. Lake Leschenaultia is now a beautiful place with peaceful surroundings to take a relaxing dip or has the perfect camping getaway and best of all it is only 1 hour east of Perth.

Get your mates together or load the family in the car and visit one of our favourite swimming holes in Perth at Lake Leschenaultia which also has numerous other attractions to keep you busy including picnics/camping, bushwalking and canoeing.

Lake Leschenaultia Camping

Lake Leschenaultia has a total of 23 sites located within three separate camping areas.

Facilities provided at Lake Leschenaultia include a café, kiosk, toilets, playground, barbecues, picnic areas, grassed areas, camp kitchen and walking and cycling trails – making Lake Leschenaultia a must for a quick weekend getaway and the perfect camping spot for families and those new to the adventures of camping.

COVID-19 Restrictions

The campground will be open for camping from Monday 11 May through until 31 May only.

If the current lifting of restrictions is extended, the Shire will look to open the campground for more bookings in June.

Full refunds will be available should the current lifting of restrictions be withdrawn.

Cost: $20 site fee, from $9.50 per person per night.
