Honeymoon Pool is a swimming hole paradise located on the banks of the Collie River.

The secret is out — the enchanting beauty of Honeymoon Pool, a hidden gem nestled on the banks of the Collie River, just a two-hour drive from the bustling Perth CBD. This idyllic spot invites you to step into a world far removed from the ordinary, where time seems to stand still amidst the natural splendour.

Gone are the days when the beach was the only retreat from the heat – Honeymoon Pool offers a refreshing alternative. Surrounded by lush bushland extending to the water’s edge, this secluded swimming hole presents a unique experience that transcends the well-known allure of Black Diamond Lake and other local attractions. The verdant foliage forms a natural amphitheatre around the crystal-clear waters, creating a serene and intimate setting that captivates the senses.

As you immerse yourself in the tranquillity of Honeymoon Pool, the rest of the world fades away, leaving only the gentle sounds of nature and the soothing touch of the cool, clear water. The area is a haven for those seeking to reconnect with nature, offering not just a swimming experience, but also an opportunity to explore the surrounding Wellington National Park through bushwalking, picnicking, and wildlife observation.

Whether you’re seeking a quiet retreat from daily life or an adventurous exploration of Western Australia’s stunning landscapes, Honeymoon Pool promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of nature.

Honeymoon Pool Camping

Imagine waking up to the sights and surroundings of Honeymoon Pool in the morning.

Located on the banks of the Collie River, the campground is quite a small campsite with 20 individual sites for tents and small campervans so there is no ultimate glamping experience to be had here.

Facilities at the campsite are limited which adds to the charm with wood and gas barbecues available for guests, along with picnic tables to enjoy your bush tucker.

Sorry, you will have to leave your four-legged friends at home as they aren’t allowed.

Cost: $15 adult per night, $9 concession card holder per night, $3 child per night (over 5 and under 16 years)

Bookings are essential at this popular camping destination. For full accommodation, details visit parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au.
