Choose one of the many short and sweet walking trails at Lesmurdie Falls to explore and admire one of Perth’s best waterfalls.
The bottom of the falls gives you plenty of fresh and flowing water to dip your feet in, while you enjoy watching the falls in all its glory. This is not a summer spot, as the water does tend to dry up over the warmer months, but you can still enjoy a magnificent sunset over the city from the top of the falls.

Whistlepipe Gully
Trail: Whistlepipe Gully Trail / Distance: 4km
Ok, so not exactly a swimming hole, but the fresh running waters of Whistlepipe Gully provide a perfect spot to stop and cool down, while the kids rock hop and play pretend downstream.
This cute little hideaway tucked neatly in the urban foothills of Forrestfield is a fantastic family and dog-friendly water spot.
