This is a great initiative by the Vines Resort in the Swan Valley, however while they don’t show any love to Twitter users (as of yet) – people with high followings on Facebook and Instagram could score themselves a free nights stay at the Vines Resort.
How does it work?
The Vines Resort is now accepting your social network as currency for accommodation in our hotel rooms.
The size of your social network is the basis for a discount ranging from 10% up to free hotel stays for both Facebook and Instagram so share your stay with the world!
To qualify, once you have made your booking, you have to share a post on facebook stating that you have booked your stay, post a minimum of one photo post during your stay and tag the resort’s Facebook page in your post (facebook.com/TheVinesResort). You will also need to like our page on Facebook!
As a guest you will need to share a minimum of two photo posts throughout your stay at the Resort – choose from room, dining, golf or grounds. Use #VinesResort and #NovotelVines in your post and tag @VinesResort when you are here and have checked in. You must also follow us on Instagram.

1,000 followers or more – 10% discount off rate of the day
2,000 followers or more – 20% discount off rate of the day
5,000 followers or more – 30% discount off rate of the day
10,000 followers or more – 100% discount!
250 private friends or more – 10% discount off rate of the day
500 private friends or more – 20% discount off rate of the day
750 private friends or more – 30% discount off rate of the day
1,500 private friends or more – 100% discount!
