It’s the great Australian dream that’s helping WA kids in need. $1 million to spend on the home of your choice, in the location of your choice, is up for grabs in the Variety of Choice Home Lottery.
Variety – the Children’s Charity of WA and Plunkett Homes have teamed up for the first time to raise funds for WA kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
The lucky winner will be able to choose from any of the 143 luxurious Plunkett Homes designs, with the flexibility of building anywhere they like… from Albany, to Perth, to Kalbarri. With full control over the house and land package, winners could even opt to rebuild on their existing block and build an additional investment property or holiday home elsewhere – the possibilities are endless. And if that’s not enough choice, the winner can always choose to take home $ 1 million in cash!

In addition to the major prize, there is a one in 25 chance to win a ‘variety’ of cars, holidays, jewellery, electrical appliances, experiences and much more.
Variety WA Chief Barker (Chairman) James Komninos said this was an exciting new venture for the children’s charity.
“We are extremely grateful to have the support of Plunkett Homes who have assisted in making this lottery become a reality,” he said.
“Whilst the raffle has the potential to change the lives of our major prize winners, more importantly, Variety WA will be able to positively impact the lives of thousands of children in the process.”
Net proceeds from ticket sales will allow Variety to provide practical and tangible equipment and experiences to WA children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs. This can range from an iPad and specialist ‘aps’ to help children living with Autism, to vehicle modifications for children with physical disability to travel safely in the family car, modified bicycles, camps, wheelchairs and more.

Just 50,000 tickets will be available, priced at $100 each. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, 13 June with an exclusive pre-sale period for registered customers.
