Ceasun Thai Modern Cuisine
We’ve all said the words, “I feel like some really good Thai food.” Well, here’s the answer.
A small chef-owner led kitchen on Scarborough Beach Road, Ceasun cooks modern Thai food located on the main strip in Mount Hawthorn.
The kitchen is open to the dining room, allowing guests to see all the action. Our picks are the khao soi at $27.90 and the slow-cooked massaman beef stew at $34.90, brisket cooked down with potato and fried cashews. A table of four or more should put the fried whole barramundi with three-flavour sauce ($46.90) in the middle. Though the menu reads like a few visits rather than one.
Lunch specials start at $20.90, and the premium tasting banquet is $61.00 a head. Ceasun is BYO, and bookings are recommended for dinner. It is a finalist in the New Restaurant — Asian category at the 2026 Gold Plate Awards, and it’s no wonder with the plates they are serving up.
