The Lucky Shag
The word institution gets thrown around plenty in Perth. The Lucky Shag has earned it.
It started in 1998 as a 29-square-metre bar at Barrack Square and has spent the better part of three decades as one of Perth’s favourite watering holes. What’s kept people coming back is straightforward: Swan River views across to South Perth, good food without the fuss, and a drinks list that suits the setting.
The weekend breakfast menu is worth knowing about — there aren’t many better ways to start a Saturday morning in this city than with a view of the river and nowhere to be.
There are venues in Perth that look the part. The Lucky Shag is the part.
