Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews provides the latest Victoria COVID-19 update.
Cases and deaths continue to rise in Victoria as Premier Daniel Andrews announced a new daily record of 725 coronavirus cases and 15 deaths.
There has now been a total of 13,035 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Victoria.
There are currently 538 people in hospital of which 42 are in intensive care.
Of the total cases, there are now 7,227 active cases within the state and a total of 1,435 cases connected to aged care.
A man in his 30s among the COVID-19 deaths
12 of the 15 deaths overnight due to COVID-19 were associated with aged care, however there was one male in his 30s that passed away.

- 3Â males and 1 female in their 70s
- 3 males, 3Â females in their 80s
- 3 males, 1 female in their 90s
There has now been a total of 162 deaths in Victoria due to COVID-19.

“I need every single Victorian to play their part and I’m so grateful, so, so grateful, not just as a Premier, but, you know, from my family to every other family in Victoria who is doing it tough and doing the right thing, I say thank you.”
