There are major events happening on the Monday public holiday you should know about – across major cities in Western Australia.
There are major events happening in Perth City and Freo as well as Mandurah, Kalgoorlie, Port Headland and many more places.
Here’s a rundown of whats on –
Perth City
State of the Art – SOTA Music Festival
As we reported recently, the massive SOTA music festival is the centrepiece of the WA Day long weekend for 2016 – in its new home of Elizabeth Quay.
The lineup for this free event includes Jebediah, San Cisco, Ta-ku (Live) and Koi Child. More details at the official website.

Fremantle
Down in Freo town from 10am to 4pm its a festival of Western Australian music, food, sports, arts and culture. Head down to the Esplanade Park in Fremantle. More details here.
Mandurah
There’s going to be a festival of Western Australian and international music, food, sports, arts and culture at Tuckey Street, Mandurah from 4pm to 8pm Monday. More details.
The theme will based around ‘Fire’, with stories around the Campfire by a local Indigenous Elder Harry Nannup. Fire twirlers, Chinese lantern parade and spit roasts.
Albany
From am to 4pm at the Western Australian Museum in Albany and enjoy a festival of Western Australian music, food, sports, arts and culture.
