Whitfords Nodes Health And Wellbeing Hub is getting a new addition.
Ever watched Australian Ninja Warrior and thought to yourself I could definitely do all of that? Yeah, me neither, but we’re going to get the chance to try.
City of Joondalup is installing a new park warrior obstacle course at the Whitfords Nodes Health And Wellbeing Hub, so you can put your ninja warrior skills to the test in a range of challenging obstacles.
What will it include?
The course will feature a range of 16 innovative, ninja-worthy obstacles configured with a start and endpoint and suitable for ages 12 and over.
Your first task will be completing the course, but as you further progress in your warrior training you can challenge yourself even further by beating the clock and setting your PB or challenging others to see who comes out on top.
From initial looks at the plan, it seems to include ladders, climbing walls, monkey bars and a balancing beam. Looks like we’ll for sure be working up a sweat.
Challenging courses like this have been in popular demand since shows like Australian Ninja Warrior have risen in ratings, and the people are getting what they want.
What is the health and wellbeing hub?
The Hub currently features a 145-step exercise stairway offering panoramic coastal views at the top. The stairway is linked to multiple running tracks along with a dedicated outdoor fitness equipment area sitting at the bottom.
When is it happening?
Construction is about to commence this August, and it’s expected to take roughly 2 months to complete.
The stairway and fitness equipment will still remain open during this time.
