Video: Perth Driver with Shark strapped to car

Perth often makes news around the world for our shark related stories, usually involving the shark cull or attacks on swimmers, divers and surfers off the coast.

Today, it’s a bizarre incident involving a Perth driver caught on camera with a dead shark strapped to their 4WD. The species appears to be a tiger shark, but this was not yet confirmed.

Julie Wright posted footage from her smartphone to Facebook today, showing what appears to be a shark strapped to the front of a Toyota landcruiser or similar 4WD as it cruises along.

The footage has been shared thousands of times since.

“Just saw this in Safety Bay!! Had to look twice!!,” Julie Wright wrote on her Facebook page.

Julie took the footage from her car as the shark, 4WD and boat drove along Safety Bay Road next to her.
