Think you know the South West? Think again. For the fifth time this spring, the annual Lost & Found Festival will be taking over the Ferguson, Bunbury and Harvey region for three days of food, wine, art, and culture that proves this postcard-perfect pocket of the South West has more flavour, creativity, and charm than you ever imagined.
From October 16-19, you’re invited to escape the city, step off the beaten path, indulge in local flavours, and taste the terroir of the South West. From intimate acoustic sets in verdant vineyards by homegrown talent to one-off world-class culinary experiences that celebrate the region’s finest producers, there’s a feast for all of the senses.

What’s on
One of the festival’s biggest highlights and the perfect way to toast spring with mates is the Oktoberfest Trail. Enjoy a day-long Oktoberfest celebration as you travel across four venues, including Froth Brewery, Brugan Brewery, Adrift Brewing and Bush Shack Brewery. These venues will be pouring German-style brews, serving hearty bites (bratwurst, pretzels, pork knuckles, schnitzels & more), and of course, fun games like keg carry relay race, and a pretzel eating competition. Pair with some live music and you have the festive spirit of Bavaria to the South West, prost!
Culinary, cocktail, and wine experiences take centre stage. Don’t miss the Battle of the Bizzare in Bunbury, where lesser-known grape varietals compete for the crown; Funkee Monkee’s Boozy Bottomless Brunch, complete with free-flowing gin spritzes; or Saint Aidans’ Swanky Sparkling Soiree, where live music elevates every sip and ’your best dress’ is the dress code of the day. For those mad about molluscs, Talisman Wines in the Ferguson Valley pairs ocean-fresh oysters with sparkling Riesling, while cocktail aficionados can explore inventive, boozy creations at Bunbury’s quirky Lost Bills in collaboration with Cuprum Distillery.
Each event is a delicious reminder of the quality and creativity flowing from this region’s produce and plonk, but it doesn’t stop at taste. Beyond the palate, you can wander into pop-up galleries, explore interactive installations, or get hands-on at workshops. Step back in time at Cuprum Distillery with a glitzy, glamorous, Gatsby-inspired burlesque show while you toast with 1920s-inspired cocktails. Or channel your inner artist at Bar 31’s Bubbles and Brushtrokes By The Bay for a creative, carefree afternoon.
On the final morning of the festival, restore mind and body with yoga in Edith Valley featuring meditation, asana, mantra, and sound healing — mimosa in hand, naturally. To end the weekend, the inimitable singer-songwriter Toby Beard will be closing the festival with an intimate, powerful performance at Hackersley Winery.
