What’s your spring personality?
For most people, spring is their favourite season. Perth weather turns it on a little, generally making the rest of the country wish they lived here. Everyone you ask will give you a different story about what they love most about spring in Perth — last time we asked, we got a couple of thousand different responses ranging from backyard barbecues and days at the beach to getting dressed to the nines for a day out at the Races.
Running on consecutive Saturdays until December 13, The Pinnacles is a five-week celebration of racing, fashion, and high-energy atmosphere together in one sun-drenched location. Each weekend brings something a little different, whether you’re there for the party, the runway-ready style, or the sheer thrill of watching world-class thoroughbreds fly down the track.
Here’s what to expect with each week: the question to ask yourself is “Which raceday best matches my personality?”
Swan Draught Railway Stakes Day — The Party Starter
When: Saturday, November 22
At the Swan Draught Railway Stakes Day, the racing stakes are high. But it’s not just the action on the track that will have the punters excited, as Hot Dub Time Machine steps in to take you on a musical journey through time, long after the last horse has crossed the finish line. The world-famous DJ will get the crowd pumping into the night, turning a Saturday race day into an open-air festival.
This is the perfect day out — or night out — for those who love a dance floor and know how to party.
MCA Polytrack Winterbottom Stakes Day — The Style Leader

When: Saturday, November 29
If there’s a day the front lawn gives way to a runway, it’s the MCA Polytrack Winterbottom Stakes Day. The $1.5 million Group 1 sprint brings the best to the track, but so does the fashion crowd, who treat this Saturday as a firm date on their style calendar. That makes this the most stylish event of the Pinnacles series, anchored by the Fashions on the Field runway competition.
This one is for the style leader who loves a runway — either as someone who’s showing off their impeccable fashion style, or who just loves to watch. It’s a day of champagne, style, and individuality.
If you’re interested in competing for the best-dressed title, entries are open, and you can register here.
TABtouch Northerly Stakes Day — The Purist

When: Saturday, December 6
TABtouch Northerly Stakes Day is the purist’s pick on the Pinnacle race card. Named after West Australia’s most prominent pony, ‘The Fighting Tiger’, this one will be a highlight for those who follow the form or appreciate the theatre of top-tier racing.
Lock this one into your calendar if you appreciate the thrill of the race: the excitement down the stretch, the split-second decisions, and the collective roar that rolls across Ascot as the field charges home. This day is pure racing theatre.
Gold Rush Day
When: Saturday, December 13
And finally, The Pinnacles season closes with Gold Rush Day, the most vibrant, celebratory chapter of The Pinnacles. Whether you’re joining the ultimate tipping showdown in the TABtouch Punters Club or getting merry at Ascot’s Biggest Christmas Party, this is the high-energy finale that sends the series out with a bang.
