While the temperatures might be cooling down, Scarborough’s bringing the heat with the return of the Scarborough Sunset Markets: Winter Edition — kicking off Saturday, May 10th and running every week through to October 25th. From 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, this beloved beachside hangout is once again transforming into a fire-lit foodie paradise filled with global eats, artisan shopping, and all the vibey beats you need to warm your soul.
Whether you’re a foodie, a sucker for local crafts, or just looking for an excuse to ditch the couch this winter, consider your plans sorted.
What’s on the menu? Only everything.
We’re talking buttery gnocchi, smoky BBQ skewers, aromatic Thai soups, loaded potatoes, sweet Moroccan tagines, and all the sizzling street food goodness your chilly Saturday night dreams are made of. It’s a full-blown culinary passport without leaving the coastline.
This year, dessert is dialled up to eleven thanks to a very special newcomer: San Churro is rolling in their own dessert van and they’re not messing around. Expect all the churros your heart could desire — whether it’s the classic Churro for One, Churro for Share, or the downright indulgent loaded churros piled with fruit and chocolate.
If you’ve never tried a croffle — that’s a churros and waffle hybrid — get ready to meet your new obsession. Pair it with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and you’re in for the ultimate winter treat-yourself moment.

Sustainability also gets a spotlight, with Waste Warriors helping to keep the markets as clean and green as possible. Bring your own cups, containers, and cutlery to keep things landfill-light.
