Flics Kitchen
New kid on the foreshore, Flics Kitchen, opened its doors in 2016 and has been popular with locals ever since with its combination of worldly flavours and fine wines.
Head chef and owner Felicity Evans is a heaven sent for those who usually like to spend hours deliberating over a menu as its modern fusion small bites and European-inspired share boards dominate the menu. ‘It’s kinda like tapas’ menu is smoking with a mish-mash of land to sea dishes including Baldivis rabbit cigars, oxtail pies and blue manna crab croquettes. Thank Flics is open morning, noon and night to go full steam ahead on culinary delights.

Silk’s Thai Restaurant
The silk road has somehow detoured via Mandurah’s foreshore area to deliver the best of Thailand’s regional flavours with a side of sea breeze. Not only does Silks serve up the traditional dishes you would usually find heating up the streets of Bangkok, it has come full circle to inject some Aussie flair with its signature dish; a rack of lamb coated with a lip-smacking concoction of Thai herbs and spices.
Mandurah’s only Thai restaurant is both licensed and BYO, meaning you get more bang for your Baht!

Warung Ade Indonesian Restaurant
If counting down the days for your next Bali trip seems like a lifetime away, a great substitute in the meantime is making your way to Warung Ade to get your Indonesian fix. A roll call of favourites features on the menu – think Nasi Goreng, Beef Rendang and Sate Ayam mixed in with freshly caught seafood prepared with a touch of modern Indonesian cuisine. Rest assured, making this trip to this locally run and operated suburban restaurant won’t hurt your wallet with most of its’ main dishes under $20.

Redmannna – Mandurah Restaurant
Forget casting the net as Redmanna has done all the hard work by reeling in the best of the sea with its award-winning seafood dishes. Situated along the water’s edge with Instagram worthy views of Mangjar Bay and the Indian Ocean, Redmanna is the perfect place to enjoy modern Australian cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere.
Mandurah’s most awarded restaurant could almost compete with the length of a fishing line with the amount of awards it has won over the last few years both state and nationwide. If its sea of accolades hasn’t convinced you enough, maybe its free entertainment option of seeing dolphins swim by from its balcony setting will. A worthy winner on all fronts.

The Oyster Bar
Oyster Bar managed to flip the old saying ‘the world is your oyster’ by creating a world only filled with oysters. Boasting harbour side views along the Marina, this place is steadily building a reputation with shellfish lovers across the nation with a sister outlet in Darwin too.
If you are not an oyster connoisseur already, this place will have you converted and happily preach its divine oyster combinations to the masses. Who would have thought there was more to oysters other than long time favourite Kilpatrick with bold toppings of sweet chili and cheese and pesto ready to take oyster enthusiasts on a gastronomic ride.

The Pen is back and with a tasteful vengeance! Pulling out all stops with its swanky refurbishment, the long-standing and much loved Mandurah waterside restaurant is now fast becoming a go-to destination for bistro lovers who appreciate top notch pub grub. Covering all bases from land to sea, standout dishes include coconut poached ocean trout and goats cheese and pine nut tortellini.
Those who have a thirsty appetite will be penciling another visit as The Pen boats 48 beers on tap. Definitely a top pick for those wanting to combine the love of beer and bistro in a blissful seaside setting.
